2007 was the second year FOCAL sponsored the annual Summer Reading Club Kick-off event.  The family of Peggy and Merv Miller funded this event in honor of their wonderful parents.  Peggy was deeply involved in children's literature and librarianship for many years and Merv was a well-loved science teacher.
